NASSAU COUNTY, Fla.– Deputies are searching for three men accused of holding up an internet cafe in the Callahan area early Thursday.
Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper said that the three men were inside the Cyber Center on U.S. 1, just north of Callahan and south of Hilliard, about 2:45 a.m. Thursday.
Leeper said that when all the other patrons left the internet cafe, the men pulled out semi-automatic handguns and robbed the business clerk of $6,500.
After the robbery, the trio got into a small, black 4-door vehicle and drove off, the sheriff said.
Leeper said the three men were described as black males, each about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and appearing to be about 18 to 20 years old.
One of the men, who had a slender/medium build and short hair, was wearing dark pants and a black hoodie. Another man, who had a slender/medium build and dreadlocks, was wearing a dark long-sleeve jacket and dark pants. The third man, who had a slim build, was wearing tight, white yoga pants and a white long-sleeve shirt.
The armed robbery comes at the height of an adult arcade crackdown in Jacksonville. The owner of the Callahan property told News4Jax that while robberies may be common at Jacksonville internet cafes, they are rare in Nassau County.

OCALA – A Gainesville man who admitted to breaking into an internet café to get cash, was arrested Wednesday by a sheriff’s detective.
Najuan Shaquile Burse-Williams told Detective Pam Thomas he fired shots at the front door, which broke the glass. He said he entered the building looking for money and got some from the cash register.
Burse-Williams said he tried to get more cash from the tables by using a screwdriver, but they were empty. With a baby on the way, Burse-Williams said he wanted money.
After the interview, he was charged with armed burglary of a structure, possession of burglary tools, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and grand theft, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
